LongkingCotech first self-developed gas-fired denitrification project Put into Operation Successfully

On March 24th, 2020, Unit 3 of SPIC Dongguan NO. 2 Thermal power plant, which is the first gas-fired denitrification retrofit project independently developed and designed by LongkingCotech, successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation, and was officially handed over to the owner.

During the “168 test” period, the average inlet NOx concentration was 47.7mg/Nm3, the average outlet NOx concentration was 12.5mg/Nm3, the average DeNOx efficiency was 73.6%, and the average new resistance was 250Pa, and all the parameters are sperior to the technical requirements (Required parameters: outlet NOx concentration≤20mg/Nm3, DeNOx efficiency≥60%, increased resistance≤320Pa).

This is the first gas-fired turbine denitrification project undertaken by LongkingCotech, and the catalyst was adopted Cormetech’s catalyst with 108 cells. The engineering, procurement, and construction was completed independently by LongkingCotech, and finally commissioned and put into operation successfully.

Concentrate on research and overcome the difficulties.

The technical team faced various problems during the project design, such as AIG selection, catalyst positioning, ammonia workshop location, ammonia evaporator layout, and flue gas guide plate fixing in high temperature, etc. The biggest chanllege was how to ensure the safety of the natural gas modules without leakage. The designers visited the site for several times to record the project in details, communicated with the owner, consulted experts, had internal discussion, and finally overcome all the problems. The flue gas distrubution, AIG, and catalyst layout structure of this project have been highly recognized by the US partner, and are the original invention in the industry, and have applied for 5 patents.


Attach great importance and cooperate with multi-parties

We’ve got strong support from Cormetech during catalyst selection and delivery. During the process, technicians from Coremetech visited LongkingCotech four times and the project site twice to check every detail of the goods to ensure the delivery process is foolproof. Many leaders from different department also visited the site for deployment many times to ensure that the problems encountered on-site could be dealt with in time.

Cohesion and unity, winning the first battle.

In order to execute the project well, the leaders of the power plant personnally brought various professional and technical personnel to LongkingCotech to hold a design liaison meeting, which provided a lot of help for key nods of project interface and catalyst import. Longking Experimental Center worked overtime to do digital simulation and physical simulation of flue gas distribution, and created the first technology of “ New-typy gas-fired waste heat boiler flue gas SCR denitrification airflow distribution” . There was no one left behind by the construction unit and suppliers under the coordination of the project department, which provided a strong guarantee for the Dongguan project with the faith of “only success, no failure”.

The successful commissioning of this project has strengthed the confidence of LongkingCotech’s staff in facing the chanllenge. We’ll always adhere to the concept of “customer-centric” and be responsible for every customer’s trust.
